The Beginning from a Piece of Oud

The beginning was from a piece of oud, a path we drew in collaboration with Saudi artisans, with families working diligently from Al-Ahsa farms to personal workshops in Jeddah and establishments in Medina, and from artisans' homes in Riyadh. We worked together to elevate local production and developed products in Qormuz that attract global attention.

Heritage in Qormuz

Heritage forms the features of beauty, a flowing spring from which we irrigate our products. Driven by our desire to preserve its structure from decline, we worked to incorporate its local elements of decorations and engravings, and its popular practices of crafts and customs, into our products, presenting them in a beloved form, we wear them and they wear us.

The design of products begins with a careful study of the old piece's history, and then we look for its entry into Arab culture and how it was used locally. The decoration of the piece then relies entirely on nature and popular culture, as the primary driver of internal inspiration in Qormuz.
